The game's PvPvE. Not PvEvPvP LOL. It sounds strange. But anyway. If they make them "smarter" Then more people will be crying then just creating bullet sponge mobs. They're not so strong. People just don't understand the system of perks Dark And Darker Gold. This is due in part to the dry tips for tools and poor information. And also, people fearful of trying out and dying to figure things out. Perks are such a huge a deal in this game. They must create more transparency.
Rogues can be too damaging modifiers
Design. Fantastic theoretically. Implementation a little shoddy however, it is usable. Flat damage isn't the best concept in a game with different attack speeds for spells and weapons. Wizards should start with orb and dagger or a crystal sword not the staff.
Make hit regs fixable and more than 1 offensive spell usable on wizards( I've done the math, only one spell is feasible for magical missiles, pve and in pvp chain lightning , fireball can kill the wizard much faster than enemy.
Chain lightning cannot be used against ranged enemies, as the range of it is tiny, it is not a good choice for close range melee adversaries as it is likely to kill you within only one or two rounds. Chain lightning is extremely useful in its range, in addition, the "skill" is to aim at an unkilled mob's body and then throwing it to the enemies within maximum range.
Fireball has a large hitbox and an aoe. When in flight, the fireball is slow. I am constantly swinging my axe at enemy wizard fireballs in order that my HANDS get hit first, that reduces the damage to 100 per base to about 25(burn added). It renders the spell useless vs good players when 1 heath pot or basic stats alone render you unkillable by it with 100 100% accuracy.
