When is the best time to switch completely from one platform generation to another? Or even in more extreme cases, this transition really happened in full, where the owner of the platform began to no longer support the shopping process on the old platform, especially for games based on digital format. This was what was rumored to be done by Sony Playstation with their old platform. The rumors that turned out to be true.

Sony has finally confirmed this bad news. In the name of shifting their resources to perfect their Playstation Store services on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, Sony will shut down Playstation Store services for their older platforms - Playstation 3, PSP, and PS Vita. PS Store PS3 and PSP will die on July 2, 2021, while PS Vita will die on August 27, 2021.

Sony will kill the Playstation Store for PS3, PSP, and PS Vita this year.

This means gamers will no longer be able to buy digital games via the Playstation Store for PS3, PSP, and PS Vita in the future. The good news? Sony emphasized that gamers who already have digital game libraries for these three platforms will still be able to download them whenever they want regardless of the no longer available Playstation Store services later. Game redeem codes and Playstation Plus vouchers from the three platforms will still be able to be claimed and used later.

The Playstation 3, which has been released since 2006 itself, has officially reached the age of 15, PSP at 17, and PS Vita at 10. With confirmation like this, gamers who want to buy PS3, PSP, and PS Vita games via the Playstation Store now only have a few months to do so. What do you think about Sony's policy on this one?

then we have something good here in mygamingidea and find what it has.
